        Wednesdays- Junior Boys (U11-U13)
        Thursday: Junior Girls (U8-U15)
        Friday: Open Women

*Due to fluctuations in team registration numbers, the above schedule is subject to change and will be confirmed prior to the commencement of the competition.

    AGE GROUPS-

    Mixed & Boys Teams: U6, U7, U8, U9, U10, U11, U12 & U13

Female Only Teams: U6–U7, U8–U10, U11–U13, U14–U16 and Open Women

*Some age groups may be combined or split depending on registration numbers.

    TEAM NOMINATIONS-

Full team nominations only: Teams must have a minimum of 6 players to be eligible for nomination. However, we recommend registering up to 10 players to provide cover for illness, injury and other commitments throughout the competition.

By nominating a team, you agree to become the Team Manager and take responsibility for all team communication and registration requirements.

Over the course of the competition, each team will be required to assist in set-up, Ground Marshal duties, and/or pack-up for a maximum of one of the 8 rounds, assigned during the time slot when that team is already scheduled to play. A roster outlining each team’s allocated duty and the associated responsibilities will be provided to the Team Manager along with the match schedule.

Once your team registration has been approved, the Team Manager will receive a team-specific player registration link. This link will be sent within 5 business days for you to distribute to your players.

Individual player nominations will not be accepted. If your team requires additional players, please indicate this on your registration form and an individual registration link will be opened to assist in filling these positions.

    PLAYER REGISTRATION-

Player registration is mandatory and must be completed before a player is considered eligible to participate.

In accordance with Football Australia (FA) requirements, all participating players must complete online self-registration through the following platforms:

        1. Majestri (The Gap Football Club)
        2. Squadi (Football Queensland)
        3. PlayFootball (Football Australia)

    Registration Fees-

Early Bird: $105 (Eligible for participants who are fully registered prior to 15 September 2026.)
        Regular: $125

All participating players will also be required to pay a Football Queensland Social Registration Fee, where applicable. This fee is $35 (including GST) per player.

    FAMILY DISCOUNT-

To be eligible for a 10% family discount, ALL eligible player registrations MUST be completed in a single transaction. The discount will be applied automatically at checkout.

No adjustments will be provided where the family discount was not claimed at the time of registration.

    UNIFORM REQUIREMENTS-

All players are required to wear:
        - Shin pads/shin guards; and
        - Football boots.

Metal studs and runners are not permitted.

All players within a team must wear a playing shirt of the same colour as designated by their team. Playing shirts do not need to be numbered.

Goalkeepers must be identifiable by wearing a playing shirt of a different colour from the rest of their team, or a bib.

    GAMES-

A weekly schedule will be posted on our website each Saturday, confirming game times for the following week.

All teams are requested to arrive 10 minutes before their scheduled game time, ready to play, to ensure that games remain on schedule throughout the evening.

Players may be borrowed from other registered teams within the same age group. However, non-registered players cannot participate as fill-in players due to insurance requirements.

    Games will consist of:

        2 × 20-minute halves
        2-minute half-time break

No additional time or injury time will be added to games.

If your team needs to forfeit a match, please advise us in writing at info@gapfives.com.au at least 24 hours before the scheduled kick-off time.

    WET WEATHER POLICY-

Notifications regarding field closures will be posted on the club website.

In the event of wet weather, grounds will be inspected no later than 4:30pm on game day, allowing the best possible opportunity for games to proceed.

In cases of light rain, games will proceed provided the grounds remain playable and safe.

Games will only be cancelled in cases of extreme wet weather or where grounds have experienced excessive water and are deemed unsafe or unsuitable for play.

Games cancelled due to wet weather will generally not be replayed, however, if more than two rounds are cancelled due to wet weather, an additional bonus round may be scheduled at the end of the competition for affected teams.

    REFUNDS-

Registration fees are generally non-refundable. Any request for a refund must be received prior to the first round of matches and will only be considered at the discretion of The Gap FC and/or Football Queensland, in accordance with the applicable refund policies.

By proceeding with your nomination, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms and Conditions. For a full list of Terms and Conditions, please refer to our website.
